Wood Stove Installations

 

Using Elmer’s 22g black pipe and observing all required clearances to combustibles, we can assist in or do the entire installation of your wood stove.

 

Chimney Relining

If your current chimney is damaged or does not comply with code, or you just want to make it safer, we can install a retrofit insulated stainless steel liner in the chimney to provide a safe and ‘seamless’ venting system.

Water-Proofing

 

Both water penetration and freeze/thaw damage can erode mortar joints and cause the face of your brick to fall off. This process, known as spalling, can result in such damage that eventually the chimney falls completely over. Let us treat you chimney so the brick and mortar are able to safely repel moisture, and keep the chimney sound.

 

Crown Repair

 

If the crown (top seal) of your chimney is damaged, moisture has one more way to enter the chimney, and/or your home. In this case, a new seal is needed to allow water to bead up and run off the top of the chimney.

 

Minor Masonry Repair

 

If your chimney has small cracks in the mortar joints, or the back of your fireplace firebox is damaged, we can help. Using the correct mortar for the job, let us patch up these problem areas.
