Step 2
Assemble re-lining system.
Rivet and cement sections together.
Wrap and secure insulation.
Oval the end of the stove pipe to fit through damper opening.
Note: This system was about 22’long.
| |
Step 3
Carry system to roof.
Only the flexible portion can bend.
Take advantage of our over 25 years of service and
experience.
Step 4
Feed liner into chimney.
The flexible portion makes this easier (many re-linings now are all
flexible).
| |
Step 5
Raise the straight portion of system carefully.
Too much stress can break seals in the straight section of the
liner.

advice on safety, proper wood burning procedures and efficiency.
Step 6
Lower system down chimney.
Often we must turn and jockey the system to pass offset clay liners
and bends in chimney
Step 7
Hold system in place.
The bottom of the system must be positioned in the fireplace.

Step 8
Install support and weather system.
Top plate is sealed to top of liner, the support clamp suspends the
system, and the storm collar and weather cap are installed to keep
moisture out.
